The nation is on its feet monitoring the latest on Ilocos Sur's Rep. Ronald Singson's drug case in Hongkong. Now is the time for him to clear his name although the story does not end there. It is expected that when back home no matter when will that be, as an elected official, he tells his story and briefs the nation especially the people of this province on drug-trafficking charge.
We wish him and the entire Singson family good luck. We are with him in his effort searching for justice in a foreign country whose government and legal system are different from ours but could be better in some ways.
Hong Kong residents are as eager as we are in keeping vigil for Mr. Singson's court appointment knowing that he is from an influential and powerful family aside from being a member of the Lower House. These, however do not have any bearing to the embattled Congressman in the Hongkong court.
The question is, "Can Rep. Singson convince the court that he is innocent?"
Answer: "Wait and see."
